MET Medical is run by a team of paramedics and doctors. We provide medical cover for everything from a small community event to major music festivals with 100,000 attendees.
MET Medical carries out thousand of ambulance journeys each year, these range from local trips to long distance. Our long-distance journeys are comfortable and well-planned; we offer food and beverages and tailor the journey to the individual. We are one of the few services that can cater for almost everyone and can administer medication en route.
We do take NHS patients to appointments. Having a private ambulance means a dedicated vehicle will pick you up, wait and then take you home. You may be eligible to patient transport via the NHS, but you may have to travel with other patients.
The cost depends on a number of factors such as the distance, and level of crew required to care for the patient depending on their needs. You can get a quote on our website.
